Swisscom recently began marketing a Web-based alert and mobilization service called eAlarm. At the push of a button, this web application mobilizes personnel within a few minutes using all common communication networks, without needing its own infrastructure, operation or maintenance.
Since the successful marketing of the AMX Alarm Management Server under the name ARGUS almost 7 years ago, Swisscom has now decided on an additional ATT product, eCollect. eCollect expands the eAlarm application with the automated monitoring of the existing technical infrastructure. In addition to manual mobilization, this allows all events relevant to the security of a company to be communicated to the responsible personnel using the eAlarm application. This utilzation of synergies simplifies the operational process and increases the efficiency of the alarm organization.
